There are two training tracks available:

TCI Trauma-Informed Care Training Certificate for Mental Health Professionals (50 Hours)

and​

TCI Trauma-Informed Care Training Certificate for Criminal Justice Professionals (30 Hours)

This is a training program with the ability to receive a Certificate of Completion for hours completed by August 31, 2022.  *this is not a certification*

CE Credits  are NBCC approved and meet the requirements of Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council. 

Certificate Information:

Trainings: Depending on your certificate track, 30 or 50 hours of Trauma Care Institute Trainings (LIVE Webinar Via Zoom, Pre-recorded Webinars (approved bundle in Thinkific), and In person trainings) are required to be completed as part of the certificate program. Up to 12 hours of outside trainings can count toward the certificate completion but must be a covered topic (see below).

Certificate Dates: All trainings must be completed from October 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022 to count toward the certificate.

Location: LIVE Webinar Via Zoom, Pre-recorded Webinars, and In person trainings

Cost: FREE (This program is supported by Award No. 3012704 by the Texas Office of the Governor and Violence Against Women Act Fund.)

This bundle of training seeks to inform and assist therapists, law enforcement personnel, lawyers, and other criminal justice and victim service providers navigating their work with female survivors through a trauma-informed, diverse, and empathic lens.

• Human Trafficking of Adults
• IPV in Minority Populations
• Sexual Assault
• Dating and IPV in LGBTQIA+ Communities
• Violence Against Trans Women
• Effects of the Pandemic on Violence against Women and Families
• Other Related Violent Crime Topics
