About the Event

"2025-2026 TCI Trauma-Informed Care Training Certificate" (40 Hours)

This is a training program with the ability to receive a Certificate of Completion for professional development hours attended by August 31, 2026.  *Please Note: This is not a Certification*

All CE Credits are NBCC approved and meet the professional development requirements of Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.

Certificate Information:

This training certificate focuses on trauma-informed work with victims of crime, female survivors of violence, their families, and the resiliency of survivors as well as that of service providers. This program seeks to inform and assist mental health professionals, law enforcement personnel, lawyers, advocates, and other criminal justice and victim service providers navigating their work with survivors through a trauma-informed, diverse, and empathic lens.

This program is designed to be flexible and self-paced! Participants are not required to sign up for the Certificate Program if they wish to attend our regular trainings. However, if you plan to join us regularly throughout the year for live events or access many of our On Demand webinars, this opportunity will provide you with the additional reward of our training certificate after you complete the required number of training hours below.

Requirements: 40 hours of Trauma Care Institute Trainings are required to be completed as part of the certificate program. This can be completed through any combination of LIVE Webinars Via Zoom, Pre-Recorded Webinars, and In Person trainings hosted by Trauma Support Services' Trauma Care Institute. Up to 8 hours of training done through other organizations can count toward the certificate completion but must be an approved topic (see below).

Certificate Timeline: All trainings (including those submitted through other organizations) must be completed between October 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 to count toward the certificate. Access to trackers and submission forms will be provided to participants in order to notify our team that you have completed your requirements. Certificates will need to be submitted via these forms by August 31, 2026.

Cost: FREE (This program is supported by Award No. 3012708 by the Texas Office of the Governor and Violence Against Women Act Fund.)
