1 in 3 Texas residents are survivors of sexual violence. However, no two survivors are the same. This presentation will help professionals learn more about working with survivors beyond a “one-size-fits-all” mindset. Together we will discuss ways to uplift survivors by recognizing their unique strengths and lived experiences.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completing this session, participants will
- Be able to identify the pitfalls of a “One-size-fits-all” approach to survivor services.
- Identify new approaches to providing individualized survivor services.
- Redefine the role of cultural competency in supporting survivors.
If you register for this training, you must attend for the entire training.
*Partial CEs will not be provided.*
Leaving the training early will count as a No Show.
