We’re excited to welcome Sarah Morales to our TSSNT family as our Associate Training Director with our Trauma Care Institute, the training arm of TSSNT. Sarah received her Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Studies with a minor in Drug & Alcohol Studies in 2016 and just recently received her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in December of 2018, both at the University of North Texas in Denton, where she also interned at the Counseling and Testing Services Center as part of her graduate program. Sarah is looking forward to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She hopes to one day be able to return to the college campus and serve that population as well as have her own private practice.
Sarah joined TSSNT at the end of January and quickly jumped in to assist our Training Director in kicking off the 2019 training program. Sarah shared she is excited about the opportunity to jumpstart her career in the field she is passionate about. She is honored to join and work alongside the amazing group here at Trauma Support Services of North Texas and support its mission, values and integrity. She hopes that through this journey, she will be able to build working relationships, learn more about trauma-informed care, and gain more knowledge about the local counseling community and resources that she can take with her throughout her career path.
When she’s not assisting in planning and coordinating trainings, Sarah loves spending time with family and friends, playing with her dog, reading, going to drive-in movies, and taking road trips.
